Alvaro, also known as Alvarito, made his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 reaching the second round of the singles. In 2019 he became the first Spanish player to win a medal at the world championships, and also won gold at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. He takes inspiration from Timo Boll and holds onto "This is a very hard, long road. Some stay and others continue. But it is worth fighting for," as his philosophy. After a title winning Season 4 in UTT, he's now back for another round of thrill!
